Frasa JIREH sendiri memiliki arti yang sangat sakral dalam konteks bahasa dan budaya Ibrani (lihat kajian keyahudian). Jireh dalam kamus bahasa Ibrani didahului oleh frase Jehova. Maka kata Jehova Jireh dalam bahasa Ibrani diartikan sebagai <strong><em>God sees </em></strong>atau <strong>Allah yang melihat</strong>. Bahkan dalam naskah Ibrani terbaca: di atas gunung TUHAN Ia memperlihatkan diri atau Allah yang menampakkan diri. Dengan asumsi tersebut, maka tulisan dalam jurnal ini dapat melihat maha karya Allah terlukis pada rangkaian kata dan kalimat inspiratif dengan disiplin ilmu yang ketat.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Disiplin ilmu terpilih tersebut diyakini akan berkontribusi dalam kosmos praksis yang relevan dan elegan pada basis kemandirian. <em>Religiosity</em> (keberagamaan) adalah bentuk internalisasi nilai agama dan keterikatan manusia terhadap Tuhan yang mengandung norma-norma untuk mengatur perilaku manusia tersebut dalam hubungan dengan Tuhan, manusia lain, maupun lingkungannya.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><em>Entity</em> (kewujudan) adalah sebuah “benda” (thing) atau “objek” (object) di dunia nyata yang dapat dibedakan dari semua objek lainnya. Dengan kata lain, kajian ilmu yang tersaji merupakan realitas yang dilandasi oleh kesadaran yang berwujud atau lahir dari basis kepakaran penulis tentunya.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><em>Humanity </em>(kemanusiaan) merupakan tataran keilmuan yang bersinggungan dengan filsafat pemikiran, kemelekatannya pada nilai-nilai manusia. Konsekuansi logis dari gagasan <em>humanity</em> mampu membumi memberi jawab pada problematika rumit di tengah saratnya tuntutan kehidupan. Dengan demikian, koherensi dari bidang tinjauan di atas dirangkai secara populis dan akademis yaitu konsepsi pemikiran nilai-nilai kemanusiaan yang bertalian dengan norma-norma keberagamaan pada obyek riil berpangku pada kesadaran keilmuan.</p>

Civil Sphere untuk Harmoni Sosial Islam-Kristen di Desa Inklusi Bah Sulung Sumatera Utara

<p> </p> <p><em> This article aims to argue about the Inclusion Village Program as a shared space or civil sphere in Bah Sulung Village, with the aim of building social harmony between religious communities. The main focus of this problem is the lack of involvement and acceptance between religious communities in the Bah Sulung community. The Inclusion Village Program was held as an effort to accommodate diversity and build harmonious social relations. In analyzing this research, Jefri Alexander's thinking, namely the civil sphere, is used as a scalpel for analyzing this research. This research uses a qualitative research method with a realist ethnographic approach, involving structured interview techniques with key informants, observations in Bah Sulung village and literature study. The research results show that interactions between religious communities appear in daily life relationships and in the customary system also play a role in creating social solidarity through the Inclusive Village program. In conclusion, the Bah Sulung community has the potential to build a social life of solidarity and harmony</em></p>

<p><em>This study explores the influence of wealth and lifestyle on the intensity of religious practice among the congregation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (GMAHK) Teratai Batam, based on the theological principles found in Jesus' teachings in Matthew 6:20-21. The study aims to analyze the effect of wealth and lifestyle on religious practices in the Seventh-day Adventist Church Teratai Batam and to evaluate the role of Matthew 6:20-21 as a moderating variable in this relationship.</em> <em>This research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive analysis and causal relationship testing approach, collecting data that reflects the empirical conditions of the target group. The findings indicate that wealth and lifestyle contribute positively and significantly to the congregation's religious activities. Proper management of wealth according to biblical principles encourages the congregation to use their resources to support spiritual activities such as tithing, social service, and worship. Meanwhile, a lifestyle that reflects simplicity, generosity, and service to others, in line with Matthew 6:20-21, strengthens the congregation’s engagement in spiritual activities.</em></p>

Eksplorasi Dimensi-Dimensi Lived Religion Dalam Nyanyian Osong Rambu solo’ di Kabupaten Luwu

<p><em>Religious practices in society are often understood in a limited sense within formal spaces, doctrines, or specific institutions, which can lead to stigmatization and intervention in local cultural expressions and beliefs. This study aims to demonstrate that Osong functions not only as part of a cultural tradition but also embodies religious practices that transcend the boundaries of formal and institutionalized religion. This research employs ethnographic methods to gain an in-depth understanding of social and religious practices in daily life, particularly in the context of Osong. The findings reveal that the Osong song in the Rambu solo’ ritual contains various dimensions of lived religion, such as spirituality, embodiment, materiality, aesthetics, emotion, morality, and narrative. Each of these dimensions not only highlights the community’s relationship with the transcendent but also strengthens social solidarity and the cultural identity of the Toraja people in facing the realities of death and social changes in their environment. These findings affirm that religious practices lived by the community are not always dependent on formal institutions but can manifest in local cultural spaces that are alive and evolving within the community.</em></p>

Tradisi Moginum dan Tingkah Laku Kristen Menurut Doktrin Ke-22 GMAHK di Sabah

<p><em>This study aims to examine the relationship between the practice of Moginum in the Rungus community and the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDA), particularly the 22nd Doctrine, which emphasizes the body as the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19). As a cultural tradition rooted in Rungus society, Moginum presents a theological and moral challenge for Adventist members in upholding the principle of bodily sanctity. This research employed a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews and participatory observation among church members in Kuala Parapat, Sabah, Malaysia. The findings reveal that some members continue to engage in Moginum in various forms, while others have abandoned it after gaining a clearer understanding of the church’s teachings. The church has responded by promoting theological education and culturally sensitive pastoral strategies, including the adaptation of Moginum practices without alcohol. These findings highlight ongoing efforts in inculturation and contextualization within religious practice and offer an inclusive approach to engaging local traditions without compromising doctrinal integrity.</em></p>

Pola Asuh Otoritatif Guru Terhadap Penerapan Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Karakter Peserta Didik PAUD

<p><em>This study aimed to determine: (i) the correlation between the influence of authoritative parenting patterns of teachers (variable X) on the implementation of educational values </em><em></em><em>for PAUD students (variable Y), (ii) the relationship between the two variables, and (iii) how much contribution variable X made to variable Y. This type of research was quantitative correlation, with a population of 155 PAUD teachers and a sample of 74 PAUD teachers. Data collection techniques were observation, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique and the t-test technique. Thus, it could be concluded that the authoritative parenting pattern of teachers had a significant influence on the implementation of character education values </em><em></em><em>for PAUD students and the contribution of this influence is 74.7% while 25.3% is influenced by other parenting patterns that are not included in this study. This is in accordance with the results of observations made by researchers that PAUD students prefer to obey or follow orders or instructions given by teachers rather than their own mothers at home.</em></p>

<p><em>This research aims to develop gamification-based interactive multimedia for Buddhist Religious Education subject for ninth-grade junior high school students. The research method employed Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Research results showed that the developed interactive multimedia has excellent quality (average score of 4.2 or 84%) based on validation by material and media experts. Product implementation demonstrated increased student interest, engagement, and learning motivation. This gamification-based interactive multimedia can be utilized as an innovative learning medium for teachers and students in Buddhist Religious Education subject.</em></p>

<p><em>This study examines the philosophical analysis of the phrase “I hand them over to Satan” based on 1 Timothy 1:20 in the effort to combat heretical teachings in the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Limputong, Papar.</em><em> The study explores the philosophical meaning of the phrase “I hand them over to Satan” in 1 Timothy 1:20, the influence of the congregation’s understanding of this phrase on their attitude toward heretical teachings, and its relevance in the context of the modern church. The research employs a qualitative method through literature studies and surveys. The findings indicate that this phrase represents a form of church discipline aimed at restoration, with the goal of leading wayward individuals to repentance. Church leaders and theologians interpret this phrase as a disciplinary action with a restorative dimension, incorporating counselling, theological education, and spiritual recovery, following the steps outlined in Matthew 18:15-17. Practical steps in combating heretical teachings include enhancing biblical understanding, conducting Bible seminars, issuing pastoral warnings, and employing a loving approach. </em></p>

The results revealed that the strengthening of Christian character in extra-curricular activities at the “Kariak Antang” studio at Tumbang Samba Christian Senior High School in the form of dances and songs (karungut) illustrated that the activities of this studio have shown things that are in line with Christian character values and the main development goals contained in the regional motto of Katingan Regency, namely Living in Togetherness (Penyang hinje simpei). </em></p>

Analisis Linguistik Frasa Roh Kudus dalam Rumusan Trinitas: Bapa, Anak, dan Roh Kudus

<p><em>This study analyses the phrase ‘Holy Spirit’ in the formulation of the Trinity (‘Father, Son, and Holy Spirit’) through a linguistic approach, especially semantics and pragmatics, by referring to the New Testament texts. The research method used is qualitative with a literature observation strategy using the theory of Linguistic Purism. The study results indicate that the term 'Holy Spirit' (</em><em>Ἁ</em><em>γί</em><em>o</em><em>υ</em> <em>Πνεύματος</em><em>) is neuter-gendered (Greek) or feminine-masculine (Hebrew), unlike other terms denoting the Godhead, which are exclusively male. The use of the neuter pronoun (α</em><em>ὐ</em><em>τό</em><em>) in John 14:17 and the depiction of the Spirit as part of Christ (Revelation 5:6) reinforce that the Holy Spirit is not distinct, but rather a manifestation of the Spirit of God/Christ. The Trinitarian clause in 1 John 5:7 is not found in pre-16th century manuscripts, suggesting it is an interpolation to support the doctrine of the Trinity. The statement of the Trinity in Matthew 28:19 is regarded as a potential post-Nicene insertion, given that New Testament baptisms only invoke the name of Jesus (Acts 2:38; 19:5). Nonetheless, even if the verse holds validity, the constative concept within Illocutionary Acts elucidates pragmatically that the Holy Spirit is not the third person of the Trinity, but rather the Spirit of God or the Spirit of Christ Himself. This discovery differs from conventional interpretations and presents a more linguistic viewpoint, which is not used as the basic foundation for the formation of the doctrine of the Trinity in Christianity.</em></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Book Antiqua',serif;">Aceh as a province rich in its Islamic heritage and local culture, is faced with a major challenge in enhancing civic participation through the utilisation of digital technology. This research aims to identify the important role of Acehnese leaders in utilising digital media to strengthen Islamic values and local culture, as well as increase community engagement in the development process. The method used is a qualitative approach through a literature review that focuses on analysing various relevant sources, such as scientific journals, books, and reports related to public communication in Aceh. The results show that Acehnese leaders have successfully utilised social media and other digital platforms to spread religious and cultural messages in line with Islamic teachings, which in turn encourages community participation in various social and political activities. However, challenges remain related to the digital divide and uneven understanding among the public. The findings emphasise the importance of Aceh's leaders in bridging this gap with a more inclusive approach.</span></em></p>

<p><em>This research aims to explore the theological meaning of Psalm 84:2, 3, and 5 and how it relates to understanding the presence of Generations Y and Z in Sabbath worship, especially within the Northern Sabah Mission. By using an exegetical approach to the Hebrew and Greek texts, along with expert interpretations and the historical background of Psalm 84. In today’s context, the study highlights several reasons why younger generations are less involved in Sabbath worship. These include personal and spiritual struggles, worship formats that feel outdated or irrelevant, digital distractions, and church leadership styles that don’t adapt well to modern changes. This research recommends a more holistic and contextual pastoral approach, including: deeper and more personal spiritual mentoring; worship services that are inclusive and meaningful without losing theological depth; building communities that are relational and allow participation, and using digital media as a new space for faith-building and sharing the gospel. Furthermore, actively involving young people in church ministry is seen as key to shaping their spiritual identity. </em></p>

<p><em>This research aims to find out the role of religious figures in building religious moderation in the city of Aek Nabara, Labuhanbatu Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach. The research results explain that religion moderation in the city of Aek Nabara is local wisdom. The sociological and cultural ties between people of different religions in the city of Aek Nabara have been going on for a long time and there has never been any conflict between religions. There are six roles of religion figures in building religious moderation in the city of Aek Nabara. First, supporting the government in promoting religious moderation and national commitment. Second, informing and explaining the principles of religion moderation to the public. Third, building harmony between religious communities in the city of Aek Nabara. Fourth, caring for and building togetherness to build religious moderation. Fifth, remind the public to stay away from intolerant attitudes and sixth, be an example in implementing religious moderation for society and the ummah. The role of religious leaders makes the atmosphere of religious moderation in the city of Aek Nabara conducive</em><em>.</em></p>

Praktik Pemanggilan Arwah Orang Mati dalam Tradisi Suku Batak Toba: Tinjauan Teologis Berdasarkan 1 Samuel 28:7

<p><em>This research examines the practice of </em><em>necromancy</em><em> among the Toba Batak from a theological perspective, specifically based on 1 Samuel 28:7. This practice, although it has long been an integral part of Batak culture, poses serious challenges when confronted with the teachings of the Christian faith. In the present context, there are still Batak Christian communities who practice this ritual as a form of respect for ancestors, even though the Bible explicitly opposes it. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach to trace the roots of this belief, exegetical analysis of 1 Samuel 28:7, and the church's response to this phenomenon. The results show that there is syncretism between Christian teachings and local culture that causes theological confusion among the congregation. This finding indicates the need for a contextualized and educative pastoral approach by the church in guiding people to uphold the Christian faith without completely abandoning their cultural identity. This research emphasizes the importance of churches understanding the local cultural context in conveying doctrine and developing relevant and transformative mission strategies.</em></p>

<p><em>The purpose of this study is to better understand how high the level of understanding of students and students of SD and SMP Swasta Advent Lumbangambiri about Joseph's spirituality based on the Book of Genesis Articles 37-50. The research method used quantitative survey research. The results showed that there is a relationship between kindness, responsibility, integrity and competence to hope in God towards the study of Joseph's spiritual competence based on the Book of Genesis Chapter 37-50 on the students of SD-SMP Private Adventist Lumbangambiri, Central Dairi District. Overall, respondents almost have a mediocre or moderate understanding of Joseph's spirituality based on the Book of Genesis chapters 37-50 for students at SD-SMP Swasta Advent Lumbangambiri Central Dairi District which is 3.84-5.00.</em></p>

<p><em>Hypnoteraphy is carried out because of the behavioral diseases that occur among high school students, such as academic procrastination behavior, boredom, laziness, indifference, lack of attention to lessons, learning feels like a burden. The purpose of this study was to determine student behavior before hypnotherapy and to determine the effect of hypnotherapy on student learning behavior. The research method is quantitative using a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. Experiments were conducted on 20 students who had learning behaviors that were common among students. The results of the experiments that have been carried out that there is a low value of student learning behavior before therapy, which only gets a score of 40. Whereas after therapy the value is equal to 85. The difference in scores before and after therapy is calculated using a paired sample t-test. The calculation results are shown by the statistical number Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. This means that it is significant to accept Ha, namely that there is an effect of using hypnotherapy on the PAK learning behavior of Class X students of SMAN-1 Tamiang Layang.</em></p>

<p><em>This study aims to analyze the influence of the quality of church events and church activities on the spiritual growth of youth in the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Palu, based on the biblical principle of Proverbs 22:6. A descriptive quantitative approach was used, with a survey method involving 121 youth respondents. The research instruments passed validity and reliability tests. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that both the quality of church events (X1) and church activities (X2) have a positive and significant effect on spiritual growth (Y). The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.553, indicating that 55.3% of the variance in spiritual growth is explained by the two independent variables. These findings underscore the importance of the church in organizing high-quality and participatory programs to nurture the faith and spiritual character of young people. The application of Proverbs 22:6 serves as the theological foundation for designing effective and contextually relevant youth spiritual development strategies.</em></p>

<p><em>This study aims to understand how the practice of Children's Holy Communion at Gereja Kristen Jawa Dagen-Palur and GKJ Danukusuman is implemented as part of Christian education for children</em><em>. </em><em>The subjects of this study include parents of children who have participated in the Children's Holy Communion and church pastors. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed to gain an in-depth understanding through interviews, observation, and document analysis.</em> <em>The findings indicate that while the Children's Holy Communion can serve as a significant moment in the growth of a child's faith, the follow-up discipleship efforts remain suboptimal. The churches face challenges in designing structured follow-up programs, and parental involvement in accompanying their children's faith journey is still limited. As a result, the continuity of Christian faith education for children is not well maintained.</em> <em>Therefore, this study recommends that churches develop post-communion discipleship programs that actively involve families. </em></p>

Analisis Eksegesis Kata Dunamin dalam Markus 6:5 Dikaitkan Dengan Pelayanan Yesus dan Pertumbuhan Iman

<p><em>This study aims to conduct an exegesis analysis of the word “dunamin” in Mark 6:5 and relate it to the ministry of Jesus towards the growth of faith of believers. In general, the word miracle is considered as an act of God or a miracle of healing, while the word miracle in Mark 6:5 is more than the real meaning. The expression “δύναμιν” in Mark 6:5 translates as “power” or ‘strength’ of God greater than the miracle “θεραπεύω” and has a deep meaning in the context of Jesus' ministry. In Mark 6:5, it is stated that Jesus could not perform a single miracle in Nazareth because of their unbelief. This study uses a qualitative approach with the method of exegesis of the Greek text of the New Testament. The result of this analysis found that the limitation of the expression “dunamin” in this passage does not reflect the weakness of Jesus' power, but rather shows the close relationship between faith and acceptance of God's work. The implication of this finding is that Jesus' ministry is not only about the unilateral delivery of power, but awaits an active response in the form of faith from the recipient, the acceptance of which is called “repentance”. Thus, repentance is an important factor in opening up space for the work of God's power to work in the lives of Christians in the growth of faith.</em></p>

Model Pendampingan Pastoral bagi Remaja Korban Cyberbullying: Studi di Jemaat GPM Rehobot dan Jemaat GPM Bethel Kota Ambon

<p><em>This study aims to understand the impact of cyberbullying and to develop a pastoral assistance framework for teenagers who are victims of cyberbullying in the GPM Bethel and GPM Rehoboth congregations. To address the research problem, the researcher employed a qualitative research method. Observations were conducted on the impact of cyberbullying on teenagers in the GPM Bethel and GPM Rehoboth congregations, interviews were held with victims, church council members, and youth mentors in both congregations, and document studies related to cyberbullying and pastoral care were carried out. The findings reveal that in the GPM Bethel and GPM Rehoboth congregations, 57 teenagers have experienced cyber violence. Through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), it was further found that 33 teenagers from the GPM Bethel congregation and 24 from the GPM Rehoboth congregation had been victims of cyberbullying while using WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and online games as platforms for communication and building friendships. The hope of finding understanding and supportive peers through these platforms had, unfortunately, led to hurtful actions among the teenagers. The study highlights the need for a pastoral care approach to assist victims in recovering and developing healthy ways of building social relationships while addressing the trauma caused by cyberbullying.</em></p>

<p><em>This study explores the impact of the implementation of liturgy, fasting, and prayer on the spiritual growth of the congregation in the Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDA) in the South Simalungun One District. The primary objective is to understand, analyze, and examine how the practices of liturgy, fasting, and prayer influence spiritual development. The research employs descriptive analysis and causal relationship testing, with data collected from the actual conditions of the studied population. It examines the relationship between independent variables (liturgy, fasting, and prayer) and the dependent variable (spiritual growth). Findings reveal that the practice of liturgy has a strong correlation with spiritual growth—greater participation in liturgical practices contributes significantly to the development of the congregation’s spirituality. Similarly, the practices of fasting and prayer are shown to have a substantial impact on spiritual development. The study indicates that engaging in fasting and prayer can lead believers to grow significantly in their faith and spirituality.In conclusion, liturgy, fasting, and prayer all positively contribute to the spiritual growth of the congregation. Faithfulness in service (liturgy), practicing fasting, and engaging in prayer encourage the congregation to grow spiritually, strengthen their faith, and live in love toward God and others, rooted in the love of Christ.</em></p>

The type of research used in this study is library research</em><em>.</em><em> By using library research methods, it is hoped that this study can make a significant contribution to the understanding of student management in Buddhist educational institutions, as well as provide recommendations for better practices in developing discipline and character in the future. The results of the research show that student management plays a crucial role in educational institutions, considering that students are the primary source of input, process, and output of education. Effective management will contribute to the improvement of overall educational outcomes. By optimizing student management, as well as nurturing discipline, character, and holistic evaluation, educational institutions can shape individuals who are not only academically intelligent but also possess high morals and ethics. The application of Buddhist principles in student management has proven effective in enhancing discipline, character, and student evaluation outcomes, and educational institutions are vital in supporting the achievement of educational goals, curriculum, institutional objectives, and national education.</em></p>

Studi Eksegesis tentang “Tubuhmu adalah Bait Roh Kudus” Berdasarkan Teks 1 Korintus 6:19

<p><em>This study aims to analyze the understanding of Christianity and the meaning of “the body is the temple of the holy spirit” based on 1 Corinthians 6:19. The method used is qualitative research. The results reveal that the body of believers has been sanctified by Christ, becoming a new creation, and that the old man has been cleansed to live in holiness towards eternal life. Holiness itself is a sacred value that is closely attached to the temple because God is holy, so His presence makes the temple holy. Just as holiness is attached to the physical temple, so too is holiness obligatory in the spiritual temple, which is the body of believers. Throughout the Bible, from the Old Testament to the New Testament, holiness is always expressed as a central theme, both explicitly and implicitly. Holiness is not only relevant in the past, but also in the present and the future, because holiness stems from God's holy nature, so everything related to Him must also be holy. To be sanctified, then, means to be set apart and set apart for God.</em></p>
